Season 30: Pilot Note

As usual, am doing a pilot episode note, while looking back at the previous season. For those new to this term of mine, being a TV series junkie, this is how I view every birthday, as the start of a fresh new season of this so-called TV series called "My Life"

So let's see, what happened in Season 29?

Work wise, it's the toughest year of my career. But with the promotion at the beginning, I guess the challenges comes with it. No such thing as free lunch, right?
But, no matter how tough it was at work. it's compensated by other good things happening in my personal life. I got to visit Japan one more time last April, something I never thought I'd get to do again so quickly, and two best friends returned from their journey abroad. Although one's only here for the summer, but it was one great summer. It feels like we're back to 3-4 years ago, and it was great.

In Season 29 I witnessed a lot of new Juniors coming. That's right, best friends having babies, and that got me and Bayu thinking that maybe we're ready to have one of our own. The journey wasn't that easy, unfortunately. And for a high achiever like me, I gotta say that it was kind of frustrating knowing that I can't have this one that easily. But, long story short, God intervened.. and now here I am, expecting my first child - the best way I can think of to start Season 30 :)

Between stressing out about work and trying to have a baby, Season 29 made me opened up to new horizons. I started to learn how to use a DSLR camera, and fell in love straight away. Photography is now my new passion, and am happy to hear positive feedback on my shots. I also got to start living the dream I had since 10 years ago: being a radio announcer. I applied for MRA Broadcastar Show (somehow like Idol, but for broadcaster) in August, and am one of the last 5 standing for 90.4 Cosmopolitan FM. Am still under review, but I have my own weekly spot on Saturday 9-11pm now, at least until December (keeping my fingers crossed for January schedule!) Never thought I'd be living the dream at this age, but here I am, and am damn happy about it!

Who am I kidding though, despite all the good things, for the most of Season 29,  what I remember the most  is the stress from work. I kept on wishing that the stress would be over soon, and it was mostly all I can think of. Little did I know that the season will have such a sweet finale :) Thank you God, for all the blessings you have given me, through all the wonderful people around me. I wouldn't have made it through any single season without them.

I am so ready for Season 30! Bring it on!
