Sinou Kaffee Hausen - a taste of Central Perk
Borrowing @da_mas' words, Central Perk-ish seems just about right to describe Sinou Kaffee Hausen.
I heart the place, a combo of cozy atmosphere and good food never fails me. Love their selections of pancake/waffle/french toast - a definite must try. Spaghetti Hot Tuna and Original/Fried/Grilled Oxtail soup are also recommended, if you're looking for something more filling.They also have plenty of drinks to choose from. So far my fave is Mango Cocktail (see pic), big enough to be shared by up to 4 people at only 35K - good value for money indeed ;P However, I must warn the rice lovers : Main course menus mostly revolves around Pasta and Sandwich, so if you're into rice dishes - perhaps this place could be your desert destination :)Sinou Kaffee Hausen

Price range is quite acceptable, their menu is mostly at 20 - 50K for food, and 15 - 30ish for drinks.
And yes, they do have free WIFI.

#9daysinSG - Udders Ice Cream; Prepare to scream for ice cream!
If you're a fan of ice cream stranded in Singapore with enough free time (case in point, yours truly), do give Udders Ice Cream a visit.What I love the most about this place is their choice of flavors. They have like, loads of flavors! Including the never-seen-before for ice cream, like : Earl Grey. Didn't try that one though. I love Earl Grey tea, but I just cant imagine it being an ice cream flavor ^^;; I tried Bailey's and Bourbon. What can I say, I'm always a fan of Bailey's flavored Ice Cream. The verdict : I think I like udders' Bailey's more than Haagen Dazs'! Maybe it's the bourbon, haha xD They have other liqueur flavors as well - the ones that caught my attention were : Lychee Martini and Amaretto Black.
Hopefully they will still have those when I come back for the next visit. You see, udders make their own ice cream, they produce per batch, and they're only going to produce once the previous batch is running out. And, they dont always make the same flavors every time. So it does take a li'l bit of luck to keep finding the flavors you like. The outlet I visited was the one at Novena. It's just a small outlet, I'd say max 20-ish people can fit in there. But not to worry, they have tables available outside as well, so you can eat your ice cream (+ waffles, if you like) outside by the street. It's a nice neighborhood so no objections there. For directions on how to get to Novena outlet, or the others, click here So ice cream fans, make sure you visit this place. Seriously recommended.
