Martabak Manis at @JtownCafe - Mid Orchard Plaza #9daysinSG #dFood

If you're an Indonesian in Singapore and miss a taste of home in the form of martabak manis, come pay a visit to J-Town Cafe (@JtownCafe on twitter)

It's a nice, small cafe with a warm atmosphere located in Mid Orchard Plaza, very near to Centerpoint.
If you're going by MRT, get off at Somerset station, continue to 313@Somerset, and go outside via the exit near Forever 21. Cross the street, turn left, and you'll find Mid Orchard Plaza on your right. Go down the stairs and you'll find J-town Cafe on your left

I tried the martabak manis coklat keju yesterday. It's actually good! I dont usually like thick martabak manis (I usually go for tipker), but this one's good. Tasty yet not too much. Just right. It's made once you order, so it's guaranteed to be warm by the time it reaches your table. The guy in the pic is the owner of the cafe, and he's the one making the martabak. One nice and funny guy, looks kinda like Masi Oka aka Hiro Nakamura from Heroes, dont you think? ^-^
