The Random Truths

About a week ago, I celebrated the Pilot episode of the 28th season of a series called "My Life". I actually don't remember since when I started referring my life as a TV series and every birthday as a new season.. But most likely it started three years ago, when I turned 25. Maybe the quarter life crisis syndrome in me wanted to lighten up the process of getting older, haha.

So.. If my life were a TV series, then last year is probably the one with the most twists and turns in the plot. Two main characters, my grandmother and my father, was pulled out of the show, the latter so unexpectedly.. my character surprisingly ended life as a singleton and embraced a new life as a married woman, something she never saw coming so soon.. As her other close friends would agree (right, Arma? Tanya? ;p).. Some of my close friends who I spend a lot of time with went abroad to pursue their ambitions.. (Miss you girls!).. But last year wasn't just all about people leaving the show.. I have new characters going permanent on the cast list., too.. My Husband, My mother in law, father in law, brother in law, and the whole in-law lot that comes with them :) Oooh.. And let's not forget, last year was the year I finally went to Japan, the one place I've been dying to go to since,like, ages ago!

Looking back, I can't believe it's only been a year since my last birthday.. I mean, losing your grandma, getting married, and losing your dad is a lot of things to be happening in one year time, right? Up until now I still think it's all too much.. after sadness comes happiness and then comes sadness again.. And before you know it, it's all back to life as usual.. Because that's just the way it has to be.. Just like a tv series, I have to keep my life exciting, with the existing characters.. Because the show must go on.. I definitely won't let this series go downhill.. like what happened with "Charmed" after Prue left.. Or "That 70's Show" without Kelso and Eric ^^;;

My wish for next year.. To have the most exciting season yet, with new and exciting characters and plots. But hopefully.. no important characters being pulled out of the show permanently, Amin..
