Punk's Not Dead

In the spirit of winning a mini compo with Ipod dock in my division’s Sharing of Joy session yesterday, I did five things that I never thought I could do:
1. Wearing a ripped shirt with Anarchy logo sprayed with Pylox
2. Applying Gothic make up, including the dark red lipstick
3. Not smiling at all in every photo shot taken of me
4. Shouting “Boyband is dead!” (a boyband fan here, ladies and gentlemen!)
5. Jumping and moshing in front of public to the tunes of “Anarchy in the UK” by Sex Pistols—and actually quite enjoying it =P
(This is so not me, right?)
True, they are not really in my list of things to do before I turn 30 (like Phoebe’s list =P), however I’m glad I did all of the above because I don’t think I’ll ever have the chance (or the will!) to do them again any time in the future.
Aah.. The things you’d do to win the big prize.. too bad we didn’t win, but hey, I *think* the others had a really great time.. and being one of the committee, that is almost as rewarding as winning the mini compo…
OK.. maybe I’m being a bit dramatic (read:bullshitting) there =P
So I’m still a bit sad the team didn’t win.. but I really did have a blast.. And getting in touch with your gothic side turned out to be not so bad afterall… I guess Tutut and I have to thank Agus for forcing us to embrace our inner gothic personality hahaha =P
